===Eng=== One of the most popular activities for foreign tourists visiting Korea is wearing the traditional Korean clothing, hanbok, and strolling through palaces or traditional neighborhoods to directly experience traditional Korean culture. Seoul’s Joseon-era palaces—Gyeongbokgung, Changdeokgung, Changgyeonggung, and Deoksugung—are representative locations for hanbok experiences, and they encourage this cultural activity by offering free admission to visitors wearing hanbok. Gyeongbokgung Palace, established in 1395 as the main royal palace of the Joseon dynasty (1392-1910), preserves magnificent and beautiful structures such as Geunjeongjeon Hall, Gyeonghoeru Pavilion, and Hyangwonjeong Pavilion. Wearing hanbok and standing in the courtyard before Geunjeongjeon after passing through Gwanghwamun Gate creates the feeling of stepping back in time to when the king and his officials deliberated on state affairs. Changdeokgung Palace, inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is particularly renowned for its secret garden, which harmonizes beautifully with nature. Changgyeonggung and Deoksugung also possess their own unique histories and architectural beauty, making them beloved venues for hanbok experiences. Bukchon Hanok Village and Seochon in Seoul are areas densely populated with traditional Korean houses (hanok), where visitors can walk along alleyways and feel the atmosphere of old Seoul. Bukchon is located between Gyeongbokgung and Changdeokgung Palaces and was historically an upscale residential area for the aristocratic class (yangban) during the Joseon period. Today, it has transformed into a cultural space where tradition and modernity blend, with hanok cafes, workshops, and museums. Seochon, located to the west of Gyeongbokgung Palace, also preserves hanok and old buildings well, making it an excellent place for a stroll in hanbok. Jeonju Hanok Village features the largest concentration of hanok in the country, with approximately 800 traditional houses gathered in one area. Hanbok rental shops are conveniently located throughout the village, making it easy to rent and wear hanbok while exploring. Iksan Hanok Village and Gyeongju Hanok Village also provide hanbok experience spaces that reflect the historical characteristics of their respective regions. These hanbok experience programs offer comprehensive cultural experiences that go beyond simply trying on clothing, allowing participants to engage with Korean traditional architecture, history, and etiquette simultaneously.
